Compassionate Communication in the Healthcare Setting

Compassionate Communication in the Healthcare Setting

Description

Blending the principles of non-violent communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg, PhD with personal mindfulness practices, this workshop outlines a workable, repeatable strategy for communicating in the healthcare setting.

Intention

Given the wide variety of roles that exist in healthcare settings, this workshop gives nurses, doctors, therapists and others the tools needed to communicate compassionately and effectively. It will answer the question:

How can we best serve the often conflicting needs of patients, families, budgets, protocols and careers, all at the same time?
